Joseph Rudyard Kipling (1865–1936) was an English novelist, short-story writer, poet, and journalist. He was awarded the Nobel Prize for literature in 1907 and is perhaps best remembered for “The Jungle Book” published in 1894.
The Photography Studio, J. Russell, was established in 1858 by James Russell (1809-1899). The Photography Studio was famous for its notable portraits of famous individuals including royalty, politicians, and authors. In 1897, the Firm received a Royal Warrant, issued to J. L. Russell, A.
